Preserve and Sustain the Alto Community with a Qualified Charitable Distribution

If it is necessary for you to take a Required Minimum Distribution from your IRA each year, please consider a direct transfer Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) from your IRA to the Alto CEP.

As a 501(c)(3) public charity, the Alto CEP is eligible to receive direct transfer QCD’s of any amount. 

The advantage to you is the amount of the direct transfer QCD is not added to your taxable income and you avoid any additional taxes.
